The End of September

The end of the month comes on a cool day---was it ever so cool this morning as I left the house! We make plans to be in Mississippi October 30th for the Ole Miss game. What fun that will be.

A Lovely Day in September

It's a lovely day in late September on the campus of Auburn University. One thing I should point out. Alabama people love Alabama football. Auburn people love Auburn. There is a big difference. I have NEVER heard a UAT person talking about loving their school. They love their football--that's all.

The Weather is Moderating

It's still summer, but the Alabama weather is moderating. I feel Fall in the air.

It Felt Good

It felt good this morning driving to Shipley. There is a feel of Fall in the air. Football season is here again. This is MY time of the seasons.

What I'm Waiting For

We've reached September 1. What I'm waiting for are those first cool mornings. What I'm waiting for is the start of football season. What I'm waiting for is the November elections.
