Soft Rain

Soft rain falls in Pelham on this Sunday morning. We have nothing special planned for today.

Typical Saturday

It's a typical Saturday in Pelham. Moyna and I are taking it easy, doing a little laundry, staying out of trouble. After a couple days of lower humidity, it seems that we are back to the old high Alabama humidity today.

A Pleasant Day

It's a pleasant day with the temperature "only" around 91 and low humidity. It feels downright comfortable relatively speaking.

The Mole

I had this mole on the back of my neck biopsied today. It's likely nothing but we'll know for sure in about a week.

It did seem cooler this morning, but I am told it's only because the humidity is lower today.

I'm waiting for that FIRST cool morning---that first sign that Fall is here. It's much too early, although it did seem milder today.

Finished with the Blue Room

We finished with the Blue Room this morning. Moyna and I CAN accomplish great things if we just put our minds to it.

Progress

Today's progress came when we spent some time cleaning out our blue room---aka, our storage room. At least you can walk into the room now without risking life and limb.

The Day Begins

The day begins in my corner of the world with a slow, gentle rain with light thunder. It's great to look out and see that rain falling.

There is Always Hope for Alabama Fans

Dr. Thornton, our family dentist, Alabama fan, has a son who is a senior at John Carroll HS. He desires to go into engineering and he might go to Auburn. There is always hope for some Alabama fans.

Moyna Turns 59

Moyna turns 59 with lots of well-wishes. Freddy and Josie call. She speaks to Marsha. Lots of birthday wishes on Facebook.

Better

Moyna's facial rash is better. The itching has stopped and her face is less red. Maybe it's going away.

Moyna's Rash

Moyna developed a red rash and facial swelling starting last Thursday. She went to the doctor today. She's had a reaction to something but we don't know what. She's starting an antibiotic and we hope that knocks it out.
