Halloween
Halloween is not what it used to be.
This year we had 10 kids trick or treatin' at our door. We've had more, and we've had less. I'd say that over the years the number is less than it used to be.
In the little town of Winfield when I was growing up, we always had the Halloween carnival. I always looked forward to it.
How many of you know what a cake walk is? One year I actually won a cake. It was thrilling.
One year I dressed up as a clown. That's the one childhood costume I remember.

Yes, it doesn't seem the same. I had just one knock on my door.
We also had 10. Probably the same 10 you had.
