A New Trash Can (2)
The new trash can worked yesterday. It sure looks pretty sitting out there at the road, all green and shiny. The only thing is that like the brown one it ended up on its side after the machine set it back down. I've got to work on that. I don't like my trash can on its side on the ground. It looks bad in the Hood.

You must be the envy of your neighbors.
Could you attach weights to the bottom of the can so when it is set back it'll stay upright?
Either that or that accounting book that you took back with you.
You said the machine "set it back down." It must be a different machine than the one they use at my house, which slams it down with excessive force, causing it to split down the back. We are about to call for our third new trash can since we have lived in Pelham. I liked the first one, since it was gray, and it matched the house.
I like our new one!! It's green and goes well with our yellow home. Though it is the same size as our last one, it looks a little smaller than the brown one. I've always thought the garbage truck "claws" just drop the can after dumping.
A green can with the yellow house... those are good colors for Pelham!
