April Weekend

Yesterday Freddy and I enjoyed A-Day at Auburn. I remember my first one in 1969. It's been 40 years! That first day we got the first glimpse of Sullivan and Beasley, two football players who led a revival of Auburn football.

This was Freddy's first trip back to Auburn since the Fall of 2007. We see the construction going on with the new basketball arena. It's going to be something. We see new on-campus housing. So huge!

The game is entertaining. Lots of offense. You can't help but like this offense. It's a spread, but a physical spread.

We even see the lowly-esteemed Fob James, former 2-time governor, in the stands. Fob was a star Auburn running back in the 50's.

We had a good time. Will this be the beginning of a new revival of Auburn football?
