Gas Bills
Our last home gas bill was $284. A lady today told me hers was two eighty something also. The lady next to her said her last heating bill was $315. How can people afford to continue to pay these kind of utility bills?

It is beyond me. My electricity was over $60 last month. I had never before paid more than $50. These figures are not as high as your gas bills, but it is outrageous! I think if I were to leave home for an entire billing cycle, my electricity would be at least $40. What a racket!
